GETTING THERE

The Victoria Chau Doc Hotel is located deep in the Mekong Delta, close to the Cambodian border, 270 km (174 miles) from Ho Chi Minh City, 120 km (72 miles) from Can Tho, and 200 km (124 miles) from Phnom Penh.
 
The journey by car, from Ho Chi Minh City takes around 7 hours, from Can Tho around 3 hours, and from Phnom Penh around 4.5 hours.
 
The best way to travel to Chau Doc from Phnom Penh (or vice-versa) is by Victoria Speedboat. The speedboat trip takes around 5 hours, with daily departures.
